Using my Etching Press
I incorporate technology of Old World Masters into works of ContemporaryExpression. Embracing abstraction and painterly gesture, I layer printmaking inks on clear plexiglass. Through high-pressure of my press, the image is transformed as pigment recedes into paper, creating alchemy of color and movement. Each painting becomes a single, original Monotype. There are no multiples, edition or reproduction. My work goes beyond literal translation and resides in the realm of awakened spirit. |
