Embracing abstraction and painterly gesture, I layer printmaking inks on clear plexiglass.
Through the high-pressure of my press, the image is transformed as pigment recedes into paper, creating alchemy of color and movement.
Each painting becomes a single, original Monotype. There are no multiples, edition or reproduction.
My work goes beyond literal translation and resides in the realm of awakened spirit. My intention is not to render or illustrate, but to elevate.
